Jane Gants Peach Cobbler

My recipe that I use when making a peach cobbler. I do not measure my ingredients.

1. Using a nine by 14 pyrex pan

2. Use a mixture of both equal parts sugar and flour to cover pan bottom

3. Using two large can of peaches in heavy syrup

4. Layer peaches in pan and cover with 1/2 stick of butter

5. Sprinkle additional sugar on peaches

6. Cover peaches with a 1tlb spoon of vanilla extract

7. Sprinkle both cinnamon and nutmeg as needed

Topping:

I use frozen biscuits for the crust. Thaw 3-4 biscuits

Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough and cut into strips

Place strips vertically and horizontally over peaches

Sprinkle additional sugar on topping and bake at 350 degrees
